Trump keeps Queen Elizabeth wait for tea and breaches other protocols

U.S. President Donald Trump may have broken multiple royal protocols during his visit with Queen Elizabeth II.

Speaking to Morgan in an interview which will air on Good Morning Britain on Monday, he said: 'When I say attractive, inside and out, that is a lovely woman'.

This week full-time golfer and part-time United States president Donald Trump made his triumphant visit to the UK.

He also revealed that his late mother, who was born and grew up in Scotland, was a huge admirer of the Queen - and said he thought about her after his arrival in Windsor. At Windsor Castle, President Trump kept the Queen waiting at least 10 minutes, possibly 15, depending on the media outlet. Her gait has slowed over the years and she walks slowly and carefully.

Trump went on to ominously and vaguely criticize immigration, declaring, "I think they better watch themselves because you are changing culture, you are changing a lot of things. She is just an incredible woman". But others have defended Obama, saying the Queen placed her arm around Michelle Obama first. I really look forward to meeting her. "It was very special, there's no question about that". After that, you can call her "ma'am", the monarch's website says.

Morgan asked if the Queen had discussed Brexit with the President. I think she represents her country so well. We'll have to wait to find out what happened within Windsor's walls. I actually told Theresa May how to do it, but she didn't agree, she didn't listen to me.

Earlier today Mr Trump heaped praise on Mrs May, but urged her to make sure that her Brexit deal lets Britain strike a trade agreement with the USA - saying, "That's all that matters".
