Upcoming Apple iPhone Could Be Missing Some Features

Gmail's new super-clean interface is ready for duty

With high launch prices and a handful of proprietary accessories, Apple must not alienate the mass market by becoming too expensive to buy.

Three new iPhones are expected to be launched in the autumn of 2018, although some speculate there could be more than three.

The 3D Touch feature was introduced with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

Face identification, dual cameras and 3D touch will probably all be missing from the new iPhone rumoured to drop in June during Apple's Worldwide Developers' Conference. This is due to declines in shipments of iPhone 8 and iPhone X, along with increased import duty in CBUs to 20%. Now he appears to be largely moving on from reporting about Apple. If Apple hits that target it would represent 15% year-over-year revenue growth.

When the X launched a year ago, Apple paid handsomely for the new Face ID system, stainless steel casing and sharper, more efficient OLED screen technology.

Another number analysts will be looking for is Apple's iPhone sales guidance for next quarter. The iPhone SE may also have 2G of RAM, according to separate reports, and can come with two storage options, 32GB and 128GB. That could bring the price close to $700, a level that's proven successful for many years.

Expect Apple to unveil its new affordable $550 iPhone with large 6.3-inch screen later this summer, if rumours prove accurate.

Following Apple's habit of releasing a new phone every September, the new 2018 edition flagship phone could be unveiled this September.

For most companies, one product facing growth headwinds wouldn't be a concern.

The bigger question now is whether Apple can keep ramping up revenue from other sources, most importantly its services division.

According to the latest report by Counterpoint Research, Apple's share in premium segment smartphones plunged significantly in the first quarter of 2018 by a massive 55%.

With iPhone sales supposedly slumping, Apple may have a hard time reaching its forecasted revenue target between $60 billion and $62 billion.

It is estimated that third quarter unit sales will go down by up to 5 percent year-over-year. Do you want to see it on future iPhones? This is why Apple is offering iPhones as low as $349.
